Hello merlings. So how many of you have watched Siren on SYFY this year?
It came to me as a recommendation from my brother, and, because I don't have a TV, I asked my friend to (tape) record it for me. He did and I have had the chance to go over a few times and watch it. My thoughts so far having only watched I think 5 episodes, is that it is a solid story with the concept of using mermaid/siren DNA to find cures for our(human) ails. I get the feel it is a budgeted release, with slightly poor acting. And it flits between characters rather sharply. Just the way I feel, I can't help it, but, that said, I am looking forward to getting over there and completing the series. Oh, and how hot is Ryn? Played by Eline Powell, a participant of that awesome fantasy series, Game of Thrones, (Why are we still WAITING???, let's not go there shall we.) If you haven't a clue what I'm talking about head over to SYFY.co.uk

Here's another blog about sightings of mer-people. I do like wondering about their existence, and indeed in my mind there are humanoid type creatures in the depths that we haven't discovered. Would I like to know for sure, one way or the other? No, I believe there ought to be an air of mystery to the planet, places we don't fully understand, and people/cultures we have no idea are in existence.
