Whilst attending the 3 Wishes Faery Festival over the weekend, I got a chance to meet some real life mermaids. They were, Lily-Rose, and Aura, of The English Mermaids. I think what they do brings magic to all, but especially, young children, mainly girls, and this can't be a bad thing. Check out their facebook page - The English Mermaids
